家乡是令我们魂牵梦萦，日思夜想的地方，家乡是无聊寂寞时，想到它就觉得温暖，安全的地方。

译：Home is a place that haunts us day and night. Home is a place where we feel warm and safe when we are bored and lonely.

为了引导学生讲好中国故事、家乡故事，同时弘扬爱国爱家的精神，2022年3月24日，重庆市涪陵外国语学校初中部八年级语文组，联合德育处、党支部及团委，共同举办了本次“少年向上·我和我的家乡”主题朗诵、演讲比赛。

译：In order to guide students to tell the story of China and their hometown well, and promote the spirit of patriotism and love of family,on March 242022,The Language Group of Grade 8 of  Fuling Foreign Language School of Chongqing, together with the Moral Education Department, the Party branch and the Youth League Committee,jointly held the theme recitation and speech contest of "Youth up·Me and My hometown".

本场比赛分为两个部分进行，分别是吟诵爱国爱家名篇的朗诵比赛，以及讲述家国喜人巨变的演讲比赛。书生意气，激昂文字，铿锵的语调承载了赞颂的华章；少年风华，致力传承，波澜起伏的节奏涌动着励志的力量。

译：The competition is divided into two parts, which are the recitation contest of patriotic and family love, and the speech contest about the wonderful changes of the country.Scholar energetic, passionate words, sonorous tone bearing the praise of the glorious chapter; Youth elegance,committed to inheritance, the ups and downs of the rhythm surging inspirational power.

语言作为表达的载体，却能编织出千万件融合了知识与文化、精神与传承的五彩华裳，它们共同在诉说着我们伟大的祖国和腾飞的家乡撰写出的精彩故事，也激起了在座诸位的情怀与共鸣。

译：As the carrier of expression, language can weave thousands of colorful clothes that combine knowledge and culture, spirit and inheritance. Together, they tell the wonderful stories written by our great motherland and soaring hometown, and arouse the feelings and resonance of all of you present here.

最后，宋仲春老师进行了总结发言，他肯定了参赛选手们充分的准备及精彩的表演，呼吁更多的同学加入到朗诵和演讲中来，去体悟和感受语文的无穷魅力，同时也继承和弘扬爱国爱家的精神。

译：In the end,Mr.Song Zhongchun gave a summary speech, he affirmed the contestants' full preparation and wonderful performance,and called on more students to join in the recitation and speech, to understand and feel the infinite charm of Chinese, and at the same time inherit and carry forward the spirit of patriotism and family.

时空变幻，挥不去我们对家乡的眷恋；斗转星移，冲不淡我们对故土的亲情。活动是短暂的，但它带给人的影响却是持久的。我们涪外学子在平时的学习生活中，更应讲好自我成长和身边人的励志故事，激发建设家乡的热情，弘扬和传递正能量，在诵读赞美祖国和家乡的名篇中，获得振奋人心的精神力量。

译：Time and space changes, can not go to our hometown of attachment;The passage of time, do not dilute our affection for the native land.Activity is temporary, but its impact on people is lasting. In our daily study and life, we fuwai students should tell inspirational stories about our self-growth and people around us, stimulate our enthusiasm for building our hometown, carry forward and transmit positive energy, and gain inspiring spiritual strength from reading famous articles praising our country and hometown.
